Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Best Switching Games Ltd. uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.bestswitchinggames.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work efficiently, remember user preferences, secure sessions, and provide analytics and advertising information. We also use related technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDKs — for simplicity we refer to them all as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Categories of cookies we use

2.1 Strictly necessary (essential)

Required for the Site to function. They enable core features such as signing in, keeping items in your cart, processing checkout, applying coupons, preventing CSRF attacks, and detecting fraudulent behaviour. These cookies cannot be disabled in our consent banner because the Site cannot function without them. Examples: session ID, CSRF token, cart token, language and currency preferences.

2.2 Analytics & performance

Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site so we can improve speed, fix bugs, and prioritise features. Data is aggregated and pseudonymized wherever possible. Examples: Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization), Microsoft Clarity (session replays with input masking), and our own first-party performance metrics.

2.3 Marketing & advertising

Used, with your consent, to measure and personalise marketing campaigns across third-party networks. Examples: Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tag, TikTok Pixel, affiliate-network tracking cookies. These may set persistent identifiers used by the relevant ad network in line with their own policies.

2.4 Functional / preference

Remember choices you have made — preferred currency, language, dark/light mode, wishlist contents — to provide a more tailored experience. Disabling these will not break the Site but will reset your preferences each visit.

3. Managing your consent

On your first visit you will see a cookie consent banner that lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or customise your choices by category. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the Site footer. Your choice is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again.

4. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers also let you control cookies directly. You can block, delete, or restrict cookies via your browser settings — instructions are provided by browser vendors:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Note: disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent core features (login, cart, checkout) from working.

5. Do Not Track

Because there is no industry standard for processing DNT signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do, however, respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by law.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted via the consent banner.
